Job Description

The firm is seeking a dynamic Multimedia Producer who will function as a Producer/Photographer/Editor to join their Corporate Marketing Team. The ideal candidate is a creative and energetic person who takes pride in your work and thrives on collaboration. They must be able to think outside of the box and want to make short-form videos deliver complex concepts in a clear and engaging way. Must have a can-do attitude and enjoy problem solving. The Multimedia Producer will work with business and product areas to create attention-grabbing videos and podcast episodes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pitch, produce, and edit internal and external facing videos and podcast episodes
• Assist with execution of live webinars
• Successfully execute projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ensure that assigned projects are organized, executed, and delivered on schedule
• Demonstrate responsibility for all equipment issued by Oppenheimer
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong editing and graphic design skills
• Extensive knowledge and proven experience in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products
• Proficiency with TV/Film lighting and audio gear
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate successfully with all departments
• Well organized, detail-oriented self-starter
• Must provide a reel of work examples as part of the interview process

Education and Experience

• Minimum three (3) years of video production and marketing experience preferred
• Experience shooting with DSLR cameras
• Experience in financial services video production a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, Radio/TV, or related discipline preferred

Compensation:

For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
